The Parador de la Seu D´Urgell is located in the heart of the city´s Old Quarter next to the Santo Domingo gothic church, with the Romanesque cathedral of Santa Maria and the seminary at either side.

The building is modern, built around a spectacular renaissance cloister, a vestige of the old Dominican convent which occupied the Parador´s location in ages past.

The restaurant offers skillfully prepared cuisine which includes regional specialities such as warm salad with a sampling of duck meat and cheese, snails a la llauna and the typical Pyreanean bruna beef.

The monumental setting, so open to nature, attracts numerous hikers and outdor lover´s alike.  Important sporting events held nearby the world famous Canoeing Championships held on the Segre.
