For those who want to get away from it all, this could be just the place. This is a rather unusual hotel as it was originally an old train station, which fell into disuse a number of years ago. It has now been completely renovated by owners, José María and Pilar, who have managed to successfully incorporate and blend into this rustic property the latest in modern design. Each room has been named after a Spanish railway station and thus the decor evokes the spirit of these places. The Barcelona suite, for example, has a modern design with a touch of Gaudi. The Seville room combines white and yellow to achieve a typical Andalusian flavour. Similarly, the Valencia room conveys the fresh air of the Mediterranean Sea. All the rooms and suites look straight out onto a magnificent forest where the Matarrana River runs through. No expense has been spared on the fixtures, fittings and furnishings which are all of the best quality. The old warehouse now houses the restaurant, kitchen, reception and a large exhibition room where local artists are invited to exhibit their work.
