The upper section of this huge house has 2 new fully contained self catering duplex apartments each with its own private entrance. Each comes with a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, en-suite bedroom with hydro massage shower and Turkish bath. Both are furnished in rustic style.

Biscay offers some of the most traditional dishes in the Basque Country. The local cuisine is similar to the rest of the region's. The pleasure alone of tasting its ancestral recipes is reason enough to visit this province.

Biscayan cuisine stands out for its simplicity and its variety. Fish is the star of Basque cuisine in general and of Biscayan cuisine in particular. Try the excellent Biscayan-style eel, red bream <i>a la espalda</i> (lightly fried, then baked), baked sardines, Basque-style hake from Bermeo, anchovy casserole and bonito from the North. In addition, Biscay is the best place in Spain for cod, with a myriad of different recipes to prepare it, such as Biscayan-style cod, <i>al pil-pil</i>, baked, fried, peasant-style, <i>ajoarriero</i> (with oil, garlic and peppers) and in a kind of soup called <i>zurrukutuna</i>, which is baked after it is done to concentrate the flavour of the cod.
