Escaping from the hustle bustle of city life, Manolo has restored a characterful 18th century house in a beautiful natural setting with green meadows, cliffs, a corn crib and a medieval tower.
Daring modern colours, home-made breakfasts and customer service are his making. The furniture in the common areas and guest rooms is avant-garde and original but at the same time cosy and welcoming.
The hotel is located in the centre of Entrecabos, an area stretching from Cape Vidio to Cape Busto. Near hotel, dotted around are many coastal coves, ideal for fishing, and several sandy beaches ideal for swimming. Ten minutes along the East and West coasts are the picturesque seafaring towns of Cudillero and Luarca and the River Esva-Canero well known for salmon fishing, which gorge is a Natural Monument.
The hotel has 10 modern double bedrooms (several with sea view), with en suite bathrooms, television and telephone.
All the guest rooms have a small sitting room area which in some cases looks out of a glass covered balcony.
The main lounge area is without doubt one of the most appealing areas of the hotel; spacious and light it has various areas where guests can sit and an open fireplace.
The breakfast area is next to a large window that stretches from floor to ceiling offering fabulous views of the tower, the meadow and the sea.
Highly recommended are the sunsets from the porch looking out to sea.
The conservatory faces towards the west and gives way to an state of more than 8,000 square meters. From there you can enjoy the beauty of the open farm lands disappearing into the sea.
From this hotel you can explore the protected landscape on the capes, its high cliffs, coves and beaches.
Enjoy the “Indiano” mansions, built by locals that emigrated to America to make their fortune. Visit the dolmens and menhirs in Paredes and the remains of the hill-fort in the Navia Valley. Walks to the “brañas vaqueiras” (herdsmen’s mountain hamlets), pony trekking, scuba diving and canoeing.

Additional information

The geography of Asturias appears to be a geological explosion towards the sky. Above all, it is a vertical land of imposing mountains such as thePicos de Europa, where rivers flowing towards the sea have chiselled deep ravines and beautiful river valleys. And then there is more than 190 miles of irregular coastline offering a succession of about 100 beaches, protected fishing harbours and navigable estuaries.

The main tourist routes in Asturias are the roads, which cross the land from the sea through the mountains passes, each road more picturesque than the one before. Southern Asturias is separated from Castilla y Leon by the Cordillera Cantabrica mountain barrier. Eastern Asturias is known for its proximity to the sea and the mountains. In fact the stunning Picos de Europa Mountains are only 12 miles from the coast.
