This contemporary three star hotel opened its doors in spring 2005, after a complete renovation of a historic building that overlooks the vibrant Plaza Santa Ana - the place to stay in Madrid these days.
Pascual Ortega lead the creative and eclectic spirit of the interior design of this boutique hotel which includes original room layouts and huge windows that are unique in the city. Light and colour play an important role in this hotel that includes spectacular and changing lighting on the façade that adds a new dimension to the image of Plaza Santa Ana.
The layout of the bathrooms may be "too modern" for some people, since there are no bathroom doors and therefore if you are unsure about this aspect, maybe you should stay in other hotels of the same chain, which are a little less "unique". Check properties MAD54 and MAD 56.
The hotel has a lively cafeteria-lounge where food and creativity are closely entwined.
