The charm and seduction of this newly opened hotel lie both within the impeccable restoration of its façade, as well as in the studied and elegant interior design executed by Rosa Rosello and her team, who have combined colonial touches with the finest materials and the latest trends in design, for a final look that blends beautifully with the exotic and elegant photographs of Maria Espeus.
This property is built in the structure that was once home to the Philippine Tobacco Company. It was built in 1881 by Catalan architect Josep Oriol Mestres. After a series of remodelings in the early 20th century, the building was home to the offices of the tobacco company and several financial entities, until just a few years ago.
The hotel has suites with private pool and gardens, and four categories of rooms, which are each soundproof and equipped with the finest furnishings and technologies. It also has restaurants, bars, cafes, a library, and a Business Center with free internet access (ADSL and wireless). To stay fit or just to relax, visit the hotel gym, with outdoor pool, solarium, and state-of-the-art spa.

Barcelona is without doubt one of Europe´s most exciting cities. It is a place of extraordinary architectural dazzle, achieved by what has been called both Catalan Art Nouveau and Modernisme by architects Gaudi, Domenech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch.
Monumental sculptures by local masters like Joan Miro adorn public spaces, and museums house extraordinary treasures ranging from works of the ancient Romans to those of Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.
The city is further enhanced by colourful outdoor markets, a magnificent Mediterranean port where yachts sway peacefully, and a plentiful array of stylish restaurants. Needless to say, the nightlife is splendid.
