Description and location

Parador Arcos de la Frontera - Superbly located on the edge of the Guadalete, this Parador; formerly the Casa del Corregidor, affords an impressive panoramic view of the fertile plain, the river and of the old town of Arcos de la Frontera. It is an ideal starting point to begin the so-called Wine and White Village (Pueblos Blancos) Routes which includes Jerez de la Frontera, Grazalema, El Bosque and Ubrique.

Inside the Parador a typical Andalusian courtyard is joined by traditional decorative elements such as latticework and ceramic tiles. Wooden beams, rugs and round arches complete the decoration of the Parador.  The bedrooms are all ensuite and very comfortable while the superior rooms with balconies offer magnificent views of a landscape filled with natural art and histroy.

The restaurant features characteristic dishes of the Cadiz region including  ''urta rotena'' (a local fish dish) and oxtail or there is also a tempting "sampling menu" with eleven dishes to savour.
