Description and location

Parador de Chinchon - Founded by the Lords of Chinchon in the 17th century the Parador de Chinchon, a former Augustinian convent, protects its monumental heritage in that of the old quarter of Chinchon, with its emblematic Plaza Mayor.

In this framework, the cypress trees, roses and privets of the garden offer a beautiful picture, with the addition of a splendid cloister softened by the blue of its swimming pool.

Walls with a Renaissance style, large windows and vaults, classical and Castilian style furniture, and pleasant, spacious bedrooms make up the inner space, which is characterised by an atmosphere of peace and quiet.

The dining room offers 'sopa de ajo' (garlic soup), suckling pig and roast lamb and the typical 'cocido madrileno' (Madrid-style chick pea stew).
