PARADOR DE HONDARRIBIA

Located in the medieval town of Hondarribia on the Bidasoa estuary close to the French border, the Parador de Hondarribia was a defensive fortress founded in the year 980 by the Navarrese King; Sancho Abarca. This illustrious hotel recently gained it´s fourth star grade and is one of the most popular hotels in chain.

The impressive walls conceal a magnificent interior, recovered with mastery, and a perfect combination of medieval adornments alongside designer items and modern comfort. 

Features just 36 elegant bedrooms; many with splendid views of the coast, and has a beautiful inner courtyard. At the back of the property is a private terrace which has stunning views over the estuary from Hondarribia to France.

Although the Parador de Hondarribia does not have a restaurant there are many restaurants, cafes and bars within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It does have a small lounge and bar. Private parking is available and payable locally.
